Where will you work as an International Sales Engineer?

Mitsubishi Turbocharger and Engine Europe B.V. is a globally operating and technically innovative company where high-quality products are manufactured using modern machinery. Our company has two product divisions:

The Engine Division supplies high-quality diesel and gas engines and generator sets for maritime, construction, industrial, agricultural, and power plant applications. The Turbocharger Division produces turbochargers for the European automotive industry.

MTEE’s turbochargers and engines are of high quality. All top European car brands equip their engines with our turbochargers. Our maritime engines meet and exceed the strict requirements of global ship inspections. In this role, you will be part of the Engine Division.


Your challenge as an International Sales Engineer

As an International Sales Engineer, you are responsible for driving our small engines sales and establishing strong relationships with clients across the globe. This includes identifying potential markets, engaging with customers, and providing technical expertise to showcase the value of our engines. You will collaborate closely with our engineering and product teams to ensure client needs are met and exceed expectations. In cases where challenges arise, you provide innovative solutions, and throughout the sales process, you guide clients to ensure a seamless experience. To ensure success, you stay informed about all industry developments and market trends.

Your daily responsibilities include: 

  • Close collaboration with global clients and partners;
  • Developing and executing sales strategies to meet and exceed targets;
  • Preparing and delivering compelling presentations and proposals; 
  • Negotiating contracts and terms with clients;
  • Providing product information to customers;
  • Addressing inquiries from clients regarding product specifications and availability;
  • Participating in trade shows and industry events to promote our products and brand.

As an International Sales Engineer, you hold a dynamic role involving business trips abroad, internal and external collaboration and customer service. Therefore, you possess an eye for detail and you are communicatively skilled. Additionally, you have a high level of organizational awareness, you are a team player and are customer- and service-oriented.

Furthermore, you have:

  • A completed mbo-4 degree in either technical or sales orientated field.
  • Affinity with technology and technological advancement
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a commercial role;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in both English and Dutch languages, both spoken and written.
