Where will you work as a Project Leader Series?
Mitsubishi Turbocharger and Engine Europe B.V. (MTEE) is a global and technically innovative company where products of the highest quality are manufactured using modern machinery. Our organization is a group company of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. (MHI) in Japan and focuses on the European market.

The Divisions
Our company has two product divisions:
- Engine Division provides high-end diesel and gas engines and generator sets for marine, construction, industrial and agricultural and power plant applications;
- Turbo Division manufactures turbochargers for the European automotive industry.
The turbochargers and engines of MTEE are of premium quality. All European top car brands equip their engines with our turbochargers. Our marine engines meet and exceed the stringent requirements of the major global shipping inspections.
Function
Your challenge as a Project Leader Series
As our Project Leader Series, you’re at the helm of driving numerous projects spanning series production and aftermarket delivery. This role places you in charge of crafting project timelines, ensuring efficient prioritization, and spearheading implementation efforts. Your keen analysis of customer requirements and adept handling of change requests are instrumental in delivering excellence. Serving as the link between Operations and cross-functional teams including Engineering, Purchasing, and Operations, you foster seamless collaboration to achieve our objectives. You will report directly to the Manager Turbo Sales.
Your duties include:
- Leading and representing the project team, the project and associated change management process after Start of Series Production “SoP”;
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships;
- Analysing and responding to customer requirements and communicating this appropriately to the organisation;
- Negotiate with customers (cost, price, lead time, project steps);
- Preparing sample and series quotations;
- Reviewing and updating forecast planning and informing the demand planner;
- Calculate, keep track of and analyse the profit of your projects.
Requirements

As a Project Leader Series, you maintain an overview and constantly liaise between various departments. This requires good communication skills, flexibility and the ability to stay calm when the pressure is on. On your own initiative, you will engage with both internal stakeholders and clients to identify their needs, making a proactive attitude essential. You’re a connector, because together, you achieve more.
You also have:
- A degree in a technical field such as mechanical engineering or similar; or a degree in business or economics complemented by technical knowledge;
- Preferably experience in the automotive industry;
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role as Project Leader;
- Experience in a high tech mass production environment;
- Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English, both verbal and written.
