Where will you work as a Simulation Engineer?
Mitsubishi Turbocharger and Engine Europe B.V. (MTEE) is a global and technically innovative company where products of the highest quality are manufactured using modern machinery. Our organization is a group company of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. (MHI) in Japan and focuses on the European market.

Our company has two product divisions:
- Engine Division provides high-end diesel and gas engines and generator sets for marine, construction, industrial and agricultural and power plant applications;

The turbochargers and engines of MTEE are of premium quality. All European top car brands equip their engines with our turbochargers. Our marine engines meet and exceed the stringent requirements of the major global shipping inspections.
For the Turbo Divison we are looking for a Simulation Engineer.
Function
What will be your challenge as a Simulation Engineer?
As a Simulation Engineer in the Simulation Team team which exists of a Teamlead and 5 Simulation Engineers you will be a key contributor within our Engineering Department for the analysis of our turbochargers to new customer developments and implementing improvements by means of simulation. You will closely cooperate with different Engineering disciplines within the department, our customers and our mother company. Externally you will act as a specialist for specific customer projects.
Other activities include:
- Guide engineering teams with detailed and up-to-date simulation and engine performance knowledge;
- Implement new methodologies to improve simulation support within project timelines as a response to customer requirements.
Requirements
We always look for the best solution, what are your qualities?
- MSc or PhD in Mechanical, Automotive or Aerospace Engineering;
- Broad engineering interest with a can-do attitude and flexible approach;
- Thorough understanding of thermodynamics and computational fluid dynamics;
- Basic knowledge of FEA and thermo-mechanical fatigue;
- Basic knowledge of turbocharged engine performance, efficiency and emissions aspects;
- Advanced level of verbal and written communication skills in English;
- Group facilitation skills, make people understand and follow the direction you want to take;
- Comfortably interacts with customers and cross functional teams at all levels of organizational structure.
